Is there a paticular connection between a person and instrument, per say do people tend to be more suited to a paticular instrument or is it just a case of what ever takes your fancy.

With the fast influences of to days multi media applications and the exposure to the particular music that you and your friends enjoy together, have a greater impact on your choice of instrument. If you think you will look as cool as the star on TV then your hooked. But have you ever seen a drummer dance? They move every thing at once and look tense on the dance floor. But give them a couple of sticks and something to bash they then come alive. They are also the ones that are hypoactive with energy to spare, GT players in most cases are scatty and like to do things different all the time. Base players are the solid foundation of the band and like to keep things together. Keyboard players not figured them out yet and most singers like been the one in the spot light. Although they may be a little insecure. In all its what you want and all the above have their place in a band. What ever you do, don't ask the drummer to play keyboards!
